Photo mosaic software operates by taking a main image or “target” and dividing it into numerous smaller pieces or pixels. These smaller elements can be individual photos, graphics, or other images. The software then analyzes the colors, shapes, and features of each small section of the target image and matches them with corresponding tiles from a library of other images. Finally, the complete mosaic image is generated and saved in a digital format that can be shared, printed, or further edited.
